Net-Zero Cities: Westchester County Clean Energy Fair
A clean energy fair to engage the local community
About
On Saturday, May 13th, Climate Now in partnership with Rye Sustainability, hosted the inaugural Net Zero Cities: Westchester County Clean Energy Fair at Rye Middle School. Presented by Dandelion Geothermal, the clean energy fair convened a diverse group of local stakeholders, educators, small business owners and community leaders to educate area residents about Westchester County’s path to Net-Zero. Decarbonization can only be accomplished through community engagement and participation and this event shared the necessary steps on how individuals and families can help achieve this goal.
The event featured an Electric Cars and Coffee activation, sponsored by Curry Auto Group, panels on The Benefits of Electrification, Climate Friendly Yards and Gardens and Net-Zero Homes and Buildings, a vendor and exhibitor fair and fabulous live performances from a selection of local bands.
